Blue Filament was founded in Berkeley, CA, in 1997 by Tajh L. Taylor as a web design business. Over the years, we have grown and changed in response to client needs to offer the full lifecycle of dynamic web design and implementation services.

The founder, Tajh L. Taylor, is a professional enterprise software architect, with 12 years experience in the software development industry and 5 years experience in technology consulting. Mr. Taylor's background is primarily Java and JavaEE, includes other web technologies, C/C++ development, Windows, Unix and Linux system administration and IP network engineering. He has also done freelance work in graphic design, web design and photography.
Mr. Taylor's industry experience is in consulting to a slew of federal civil service agencies, online gaming, ASIC design verification, media and publishing, political organizations, and professional services. IHe has two degrees in computer science - a BS from Morehouse College and a MS from the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently completing an MBA from the R.H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
